Problems with Crowdcast

Chrome is Recommended

Crowdcast's official documentation recommends you use Chrome. So, try switching to Chrome if you are experiencing issues.

No Video

A webinar without video is far from ideal. If you are not seeing the video stream, one of the following may help:

  • Do you have an ad-blocker installed? Trying pausing it to see if that is causing the issue
  • Does your laptop/computer have a firewall or does the network you are on have one that could be blocking the video?
  • Are you connected to a VPN that could be blocking the video?
  • Have you maxed out your bandwidth? Try turning a few other things off that are using your bandwidth.
  • Try completely closing your browser and re-opening.

Sounds Issues

Sounds issue can happen for a whole host of reasons, but here are the solutions that have worked for people:

  • Refreshing the browser
  • Check you haven't muted the tab
  • Check you haven't muted the player
  • Try completely closing your browser and re-opening.

iOS App

Crowdcast has an iOS app, if you have an iOS device you could try that if all the above hasn't worked.
